The Authority expects to receive a decision on the delivery phase grant application during October 2026, with permission to start expected in November 2026. Specialist consultants to undertake work during the delivery phase, including this appointment, are being tendered for in advance of permission to start due to the tight timescales for completion of the delivery phase. This is due to the timetable for capital works and tenant occupation of much of the ground floor from July 2027. This contract will be delivered by the successful consultant following Permission to Start from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
