In addition to the existing areas, the analysis should include: • Government policy, strategy, and legislative agendas. • Parliamentary activity (select committees, APPGs, inquiries). • Media focus and orientation. • Significant campaigns or lobbying activity from the third sector, commissioners, and others. • Police system changes e.g. Police Reform Programme • Technological developments which could both improve our ability to respond to the threat or present new opportunities for offending. • Potential impact of economic changes and economic instability. • Social inequality and deprivation. • Emerging societal norms, practices, and pressures influencing behaviour (online and offline). • Changes or developments in education and learning. • Influence of social media and the evolving trust landscape. • Possible organisational developments within policing and the wider criminal justice system. • Assessment of prospective impact on policing and NCVPP's future business planning and deliverables.
