The interoperability of communications between services at cross border and major incidents can also be critical to effective operations. The proposed contract is for the purchase of portable radio equipment and accessories for use by NFRS during incidents. The contract term is 3 years with the option to extend for further periods up to a maximum contract length of 5 years.
