It brings together our existing strategies including Route strategies, Net zero highways, Digital roads and Customer service. Providing consistent signalling to customers is imperative to ensure customer service and deliver safety. This project will seek to provide enhanced customer service whilst maintaining safety risk as low as reasonably practicable. This is a vital part of the set of options to resolve the anomaly with HADECS and MIDAS systems. The scope is to investigate whether the minimum off time of speed signals on the strategic road network could be altered. The SRA will consider the possible new values that could be considered safe and preferably provide a "safe operating range" that the various systems can operate to (or can be reconfigured to operate to).
