The skate park is a significant community investment designed to serve a broad cross-section of the local population, including children, teenagers and adults. The site is centrally located in the town, adjacent to the Littleport Youth and Community Centre, a children's play area, a wellbeing park, and a dog-walking park. The successful contractor will be required to undertake the full design and construction of the skate park facility, including all groundworks, drainage, surfacing, features and associated infrastructure. The design must take account of the varied age groups and skill levels who will use the facility, and must comply with all relevant safety standards and planning requirements. Tenderers are expected to demonstrate relevant experience in the design and construction of comparable skate park facilities, and to provide evidence of appropriate qualifications, accreditations, and public liability insurance.
