This evaluation is fundamental to the purpose and delivery of the programme and MoJ legal support policy. It is proposed to run from July 2026 to March 2029, with a budget of approximately £1million. The MoJ aims to create a legal support system that is more effective, efficient, and sustainable. 'Legal Support' refers to a broad range of assistance that helps individuals understand and resolve legal issues. This includes, but is not limited to, access to information, early legal help, community-based support and digital tools.
