The work will provide expert technical advice, governance, risk management and specialist project support that is not available internally, helping National Highways respond quickly to emerging technologies, regulatory changes and operational issues. Without this support, there is an increased risk of non-compliance, delays to enforcement technology deployment, challenges to the validity of enforcement activity, and potential impacts on road safety outcomes.
