The Participating Organisations require the provision of a professionally managed Face to Face Foreign Language Interpretation Service to support communication between patients, carers and healthcare professionals where English is not the patient's first or preferred language. The purpose of this procurement is to establish replacement arrangements for existing contracts and to secure a high quality, efficient and reliable interpretation service that supports patient safety, equitable access to healthcare services and a positive patient experience. Consistency in service delivery, interpreter quality and responsiveness are key priorities for the Participating Organisations.
