Therefore, voice and data connectivity must be reliable and robust across the Authority's area of operation, and be 5G compliant (in places where 5G signal is available). While the CPS is not classed as an emergency service the work that is undertaken is often time sensitive and critical within the justice system. The expectation is that reliable and robust connection will be available continually. Access to mobile voice and data services are required to CPS staff work effectively in courts and locations where there is no Wi-Fi or CPS network access available.
