The county has over 3000 miles of highway, 2600 miles of public rights of way. Oxfordshire County Council has awarded a highway maintenance contract commencing operational services on 1st April 2025, following a period of mobilisation. The Contract will be for an initial 8-year period with the option to extend for up to a maximum of 14 years.
