Within, there was a recommendation for the DVLA Board to sponsor a targeted audit of the efficiency and efficacy of the existing Drivers Medical department (DM) processes to identify any potential for immediate customer-focused improvements. Once the audit is complete the findings are to be reported back to DVLA Executive and Non-Executive Boards in the form of a written report.
