All equipment is installed on an impact absorbing surface including bark, grass mat, rubber mulch and wet pour rubber. At a number of sites the wet pour rubber is shrinking away from edging kerbs or is worn under high wear areas. These faults can cause trip hazards and worn surfacing no longer offers the impact absorbency for the equipment it is under.\\r Funding has been identified to replace or repair areas of surfacing at a number of sites. All play areas have been surveyed and a programme of repairs prepared in order of priority. The sites include:\\r • Adisham Road, Allington ME16 0NW\\r • Foxton Drive, Downswood ME15 8TQ\\r • St. Francis Close, Penenden Heath ME14 2FR\\r • Grovewood Drive North, Grove Green ME145JP\\r \\r Key Dates & Timeline for Procurement\\r \\r ### Tender release: 16th October 2024\\r Expression of Interest Deadline: 12:00pm 15th November 2024\\r Deadline for submission of completed tenders: 12:00pm 21st November 2024\\r ### Evaluation: w/c 25th November 2024\\r Appointment of contractor: w/c 16th December 2024\\r \\r \*\* PLEASE NOTE: All expressions of interest, and subsequent correspondence and submissions, must be made via the Kent Business Portal - [kentbusinessportal.org.uk](https://www.kentbusinessportal.org.uk) \*\* Read full description ## CPV classification Repair and maintenance services of playground equipment Source Contracts Finder (UK) [View official notice](https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/notice/c47bde83-6f2b-4ecd-ab30-f29243e16df6) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
