The project will be delivered under a Design and Build Contract. This contract approach aims to streamline the project delivery process by combining design and construction responsibilities under a single contractor. The Footbridge spans between the districts of Woodley to the north and Earley to the south and carries a bridleway from Woodley along the boundary of Highwood Nature Reserve to the south of Earley Railway Station.
