Providers will be expected to describe the epidemiology of the population and future trends, describe the current cost pressures and future trends, undertake an evidence review of interventions for SEND, and map current practices against evidence and best practice. The final outputs will need to include recommendations on how to improve service provision with a view to better outcomes for CYP with SEND while reducing the cost of service provision for the council.
