Contractors must demonstrate their ability to meet the legislative requirements set out in the Building Safety Act 2022, including risk assessment, emergency planning, and safety management.\\r \\r The Higher-Risk Buildings (Management of Safety Risks etc) (England) Regulations 2023 stipulate the specific information to be included in safety case reports. Additionally, the overarching legislation for occupied buildings is the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, as amended, contractors should be aware of and comply with BCPs requirements under this legislation.
