As part of this refresh, we have funds to acquire a single preparatory LC system with UV-vis detection to support our research capabilities. Within the discipline we have several research areas and groups linked to medicinal and biological chemistry that will use this instrument ranging from classical organic molecular synthesis through to purification of peptides and nucleic acids.
