This will provide a consistent approach across all regions. This will deliver a prioritised approach to development of roadside technology renewal schemes that shows a demonstrable link to the RIS3 investment case, national priorities and required performance targets, notable 95% technology availability of assets. The final financial settlement for the renewals of roadside technology in RIS3 has not yet been formally concluded. However, it is known that RIS3 (and Interim Settlement 2025/26) funding will be a significant increase on that of RIS2.
