This particular Framework Contract is intended to allow for short to medium term treatment and / or disposal of residual waste, including possible pre-treatment of waste, to address a shortfall in the capacity of the Council's current arrangements to deal with residual waste, to address other short-term needs and to allow for options to pre-treat bulky waste to be developed.
