At the same time, the Indian government has committed to accelerate its energy transition, setting targets such as 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy and a 45% reduction in emissions intensity by 2030, energy independence by 2047 and net zero by 2070. This Request for Quotation (RfQ) addresses the energy sector priorities agreed at the fourth UK-India Energy Dialogue (February 2025) and will deliver the themes under the Climate and Clean Energy pillar of India-UK Vision 2035. This RfQ is seeking a supplier to support and provide technical assistance to the following areas: - Undersea grid interconnectors - Pumped Storage Projects (PSPs) - Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) - Grid modernisation and effective operations - Carbon markets - Offshore wind Interested suppliers/consortia are encouraged to review the RfQ documentation and submit your proposal in accordance with the instructions above by the Close Date and Time.
