The Group is currently undertaking a large accommodation review and has identified three (3) offices that require internal refurbishment to ensure that they are fit-for-purpose. The office locations are as follows. -Bunny Hill Office: Bunny Hill Centre Hylton Lane, Sunderland SR5 4BW; -Former Connexions Building (The Galleries): Former Connexions Building, The Galleries Retail Park, Washington, NE38 7SD; and -Akeler House Ground Floor: Akeler House, Emperor Way, Doxford International Business Park, Sunderland, SR3 3XR. Both, Bunny Hill and the Former Connexions Building areas will be vacant whilst works are being carried out. It is to be noted that Bunny Hill is a part of a larger occupied building and therefore, safe access for the general public should be considered as part of this tender. It is the intention of Gentoo to appoint one (1) Provider to deliver all works within the scope of this Programme. Should resource of the successful Provider permit, Gentoo have no objection to the refurbishments of all proposed accommodation sites to be undertaken concurrently. Should the proposal of the successful Provider include a programme whereby one refurbishment is undertaken at a time, the following order of sites must be applied. - Bunny Hill - Former Connexions Building - Akeler House The Contract will run until the works set out are complete. We envision the work to take around six - eight weeks to complete. The budget for the works is largely undetermined at this stage, but is envisaged to be in the region of £750,000 excluding VAT. Providers are to note that Gentoo Group reserve the right to remove the refurbishment of Akeler House from the programme at any time or replace the refurbishment of Akeler House with another building or scope of works significantly reduced at Akeler.
