The product gives us a solution for the hosting of video content that can be safely and securely locked down to UoS Schools and subject area users or shared more widely when required, outside of University systems. The video material can be played back on any device. Medial has not been surpassed by other offerings due to this unique configuration in its deployment. Medial includes a deep LTI link with Blackboard to allow for videos to be deployed as teaching materials or submitted to assessments. The scale of the product is controlled by periodic archiving content in blob deep freeze storage in line with our retention guidelines. As an embedded solution within Blackboard we are seeking a 2 year renewal of the license so that we can keep continuity of delivery and enhance staff and student experience.
