DE&S is looking to understand what services are currently available in the market that meet this requirement. DE&S is looking to engage the market to gain further information only at this time. The information provided will help DE&S to consider and shape a future market engagement strategy and service requirements. DE&S is looking to assess the market capability in relation to the provision of (please note this is not an exhaustive list and may change following the engagement event): - Contracting / Procurement (of Defence General Munitions) - Category Strategy Development & Management - Product & Supplier (re)Qualification & Approval - Supplier Management - Oversight / Management of parties with the DGM Supply Chain - Demand Planning, Forecasting and Order Capture - Purchase to Pay (P2P) and other enabling IT systems & processes - Governance and New Product Design/Introduction DE&S welcomes interest from individual suppliers, consortia, Joint Ventures and / or Special Purpose Vehicles. There is no requirement for interested parties to have experience of the Defence Sector. Contract value, including the in-scope Munitions to be provided via this arrangement is in excess of £400m. Suppliers should note that any specified total contract values are the Authority's best estimates. The value and contract term for this potential requirement will be informed by this Market Engagement activity. The event is to be held from 1300 to 1600 on Wednesday 28th February 2024 at the Village Hotel, Bullfinch Close, Filton, Bristol, BS34 6FG Due to space restrictions of the venue the number of attendees, from any one supplier / supplier grouping is 2 individuals. To indicate interest in attending please respond via the contact which is shown in shown in this notice and on the Opportunity notice on the Defence Sourcing Portal (DSP). Interested parties MUST indicate their desire to attend by no later than 16th February 2024. The Authority will issue confirmation of supplier attendance by 1700 on 23rd February 2024. Please do NOT attend the event without receiving such a confirmation as you will NOT be permitted entry. For clarity it is to be noted that potential suppliers WILL BE required to provide evidence of PSC (Personal Security clearances) should they decide to participate in any resulting procurement competition.
