The Council is seeking to appoint a single contractor for the provision of this service. The maintenance and repair service shall cover Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm (not including bank holidays). In exceptional circumstances, the contractor may be requested by the Premise manager to attend to emergency situations. Based on historical data expenditure is estimated to be in the region of circa.£30,000 per annum. However, this information is intended to assist with the preparation of your bid. The Council does not bind itself to this or any other figure and is not a guarantee of business which may be generated from this contract. The contract period will be for 3 years, commencing 1st June 2024 to 31st May 2027. Additional information: ### Overview Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is issuing this invitation to Quote in order to appoint a suitability qualified contractor to deliver the requirement and outcomes as described in this document. All quotations received (that are compliant i.e. submitted in accordance with the quotation instructions) will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation criteria in Section 4. Applications should be prepared and submitted in accordance with section 5, Instructions for submitting a Quotation of this document. At the Council's discretion, Applicants may be invited to clarify their quotation, as an aid for evaluators to fully understand their offers. All Applicants should nonetheless take care to fully explain their offering in their Quotation submission. The contract will be awarded to the Applicant which scores the highest marks following the evaluation of all quotations (in accordance with the scheme described in section 4, Evaluation of Quotations).
