The site was initially contracted to a different provider, to be delivered as a modular build. The site clearance works, substructure and installation of the 114no modular houses, the structures, external walls and pre-cast concrete planks to the intermediate floors and roof of the traditional constructed apartment block and the site infrastructure works have progressed. Works were initially delayed due to design and buildability issues with the proposed modular flat roofs. This resulted in a planning non-material amendment being obtained revising the design to traditional pitch roofs. These works have commenced.
