Repeated incidences of flooding have occurred around four culverted ordinary watercourses in Kent. Two in Tunbridge Wells, the River Grom and the Southborough Stream; one in Ightham, the Busty Stream; and two in Snodland, Roman Road small watercourse and Pollard Lake Outflow. The Supplier will be required to work with Kent County Council to undertake river monitoring through the implementation of gauges on the above watercourses to gather data such as but not limited to the river level, flow and velocity. The Authority requires detailed monitoring, reporting, maintenance and management of the gauges installed over the contract duration. The Contract is expected to commence on the 10th January 2025.
