Mixed methods techniques will be needed to gather information regarding tasks alongside a qualitative understanding of user experiences during these tasks. The Authority requires focus on passengers of a self-driving bus service, and as such, other types of self-driving vehicle are not included in the scope. The characteristics of participants to be included must be carefully curated in order to ensure representation across a number of categories as detailed in 3.2 and 6.4.
