[More contracts for small businesses and VCSEs](https://tendernation.io/opportunities/for-small-businesses) ## About this tender Southend-on-Sea City Council (the Council) are seeking electronic tender responses, as part of a competitive procurement process, to appoint a Contractor to support in the provisioning of the Council's food hygiene and food standards inspections of Food Business Establishments. The suitably qualified Contractor will be required to provide trained Inspectors to undertake food hygiene and food standards inspections and associated activities (Inspections). The minimum competencies and requirements required of each Inspector and the Contractor are confirmed in Section B (Specification) of the Tender Documents. The Contractor will also be required to ensure the competency of each Inspector on an ongoing basis in relation to hazard spotting and the health and safety issues evident at the time of an inspection. Other requirements and detail relating to the proposed Contract such as reporting, legislative compliance, record keeping, data protection, Social Value and contract management are covered as part of the Tender Documents.
