The Council currently has approximately £140 million in-house investments and £15 million in external funds. The council has internal debt for the General Fund CFR, but around £70 million short term borrowing, and £194 million external debt relating to the Housing Revenue Account. We have a large capital programme and are starting to externalise some of the borrowing starting in 2021-2022.
