A just transition recognises the environmental, social, and economic dimensions of the global climate crisis. It is not sufficient to simply mitigate environmental damage; it must also ensure that the benefits and burdens of ecological policies are distributed fairly. This approach is rooted in the understanding that environmental justice and social equity are intrinsically linked. It is imperative that the transition does not exacerbate existing vulnerabilities or create new inequities.  We specifically seek to strengthen WRAP's strategic alignment with just transition principles to support our growth and impact ambitions around the world and to ensure that just transition runs through all of WRAP's work.
