[More contracts for small businesses and VCSEs](https://tendernation.io/opportunities/for-small-businesses) ## About this tender We want to take forward a key recommendation from the Defra funded greenhouse gas (GHG) Measures project (B2068802-PAP-01) and recommendations in the UK Water Industry Research (UKWIR) Process Emissions Optimisation project that calls for a national programme to quantify wastewater process emissions along with greater coordination across the water industry to support far more accurate wastewater process emission estimates. Currently, the water industries own Carbon Accounting Workbook (CAW) v17 is judged to significantly underestimate GHG emissions and does not include wider emissions from sewerage, biosolids to land or nature-based solutions.
