A single brick and onion bottle were recovered from the site to assist in identification. The onion bottle appeared to be of a Dutch type and typical of the period 1730's. The position is not charted by the UKHO, and there is no NRHE record for the assemblage. A full assessment is therefore required, including a desk-based assessment to bring together known evidence on the site, and a diver survey in order to ground truth features.
