The Contract was placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication pursuant to Article 28(1)(e) of Directive 2009/81/EC (Regulation 16(1)(a)(ii) of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011) for reasons connected with the protection of exclusive rights. Sir Joseph Isherwood Limited hold exclusive rights in the SCPM system which prevents UK MOD competing the support and maintenance of the relevant software. Additionally, it is considered that Article 28(4)(a)(i) of Directive 2009/81/EC (Regulation 16(1)(d)(i)(aa) of UK Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations 2011 applies as this support cannot for technical and economic reasons be carried out separately from those under the original contract without major inconvenience to the contracting authority. ## CPV classification Technical support services Source Contracts Finder (UK) [View official notice](https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/notice/a84fce0b-a1c3-4bec-82f2-35ccc16cd52d) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
