Ideally, this will include identification of specific user pain-points and the variety of possible systems that users engage with when importing and exporting goods. Crucially this work needs to include different modes of transport and routes (maritime, aviation, roads, rail and juxtaposed controls). The second workstream a comparison of the UK freight traffic border systems to our international counterparts with the 'gold standard' for the border.
