They explore qualities and attitudes necessary for supporting and improving mental health. The focus is on recognizing the importance of self-help resources. Skills and Confidence Building: Connect 5 equips individuals with the skills and confidence to engage in mental wellbeing conversations. Participants learn how to talk with others about their mental health and wellbeing effectively. Local Services and Support: The training emphasizes understanding local mental health and wellbeing services. Participants learn how to guide people toward seeking support from these services. Principles of 'Making Every Contact Count': Connect 5 aligns with the principle of making the best use of frontline staff's skills and local contacts.
