The response is to be 24 hours a day, 7 days a week , 365 days a year with a 4 hour call out deadline for fire detection equipment and 24 hour response for emergency lighting. The contract is for 5 years commencing on 1st April 2024. Before tendering Bidders must carry out a site visit with the Clients Surveyor. Failure to carry out a site visit with the Clients Surveyor will result in a non-compliant tender bid. Site visits will be on the 29th or 30th January 2024. Please see the procurement documents for further information. The Council is using the e-procurement portal known as the Proactis Pro-Contract portal [procontract.due-north.com](https://procontract.due-north.com) to conduct this procurement exercise. To gain access to the procurement documents, bidders will need to register their company details at the above website. Once registered, bidders will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the procurement documents.
