It includes for the detailed design, construction and entry into service of the station via the appointment of a main contractor. The scheme itself constitutes highway improvements, a new access road, car park & drop-off, 2No. platforms, footbridge, demolition of the existing Waterbeach Station and all other required infrastructure for the new station.
