Requirement: Cefas requires the supplier to provide technical services, to detect and quantify Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) genes in DNA samples extracted from shellfish and wastewater using the SmartChip Real-Time PCR method. DNA samples will be collected from Weymouth, UK and will be delivered by Cefas to the supplier. A customised SmartChip will be required to detect the genes of interest and the real-time PCR will be performed.
