The Contractor will provide the following services: - Eradication of pests in a humane and environmental manner in accordance with Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use (CRRU) where possible and appropriate to our housing stock. - Prioritising works issued under an EPA order. - Innovations in diagnostic techniques such as 'bait take' monitoring. - Proofing and other preventative measures e.g. blocking, spikes. - Safe removal and disposal of dead pests - Customer education on how to prevent future infestation. - Provide a written report on completion of every visit. - Provide a service 24hrs a day, 365 days a year. - Provision of quarterly reviews and recommendations to facilitate improvements in mhs homes' approach to pest management. - Multiple visits included in one order dependent on pest to incentivise resolution and eradication The Contractor will operate in line with all relevant legislation, adhere to all relevant British and European standards in addition to those mentioned within this Specification at all times. The contract will be let for three (3) years with a possible extension of one (1) year plus one (1) year. Estimated value of the full contract over the initial 3 year plus potential extensions is £300,000. Bidders should note that this is an "up to" value and not a guaranteed level of spend. Bidders will be full, associate or observer members of the British Pest Control Association (BPCA) or the National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA) and continue to be for the duration of the contract.
