This includes enhanced emotional support and therapeutic counselling sessions. The enhanced emotional and therapeutic support service will be available to young victims of domestic abuse aged seven to (and including) eighteen. All children and young people will be referred into the service for Emotional Support. The service aims to support young people's recovery from the domestic abuse they have experienced, improve their mental wellbeing, and reduce future re-victimisation.
