Our Museum: Rediscovering Poole's Maritime Heritage is a £7.7m project to transform Poole Museum, supported by an award of £2.24 million from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The project aims to transform the museum into an outstanding cultural centre and a modern, thriving cultural space and community hub, greatly enriching experience of Poole Quay and Old Town.\\r \\r Poole Museum is looking to appoint an artist with a well-established track record as well as being an experienced socially engaged practitioner, to develop a site-specific artwork of high artistic quality as a permanent installation within the redeveloped galleries at Poole Museum.\\r \\r The space for the artwork is a triple height void at the heart of the museum in Oakley's Mill, running from the ground floor to reach the soffits of the second floor.
