Additionally, it provides transit for the corporate network. The availability of this network and services delivered across it are crucial in maintaining the BBC's online presence for critical services such as [bbc.co.uk](https://www.bbc.co.uk) and BBC iPlayer. The current contract will end in 2025, the BBC is now seeking a Cloud based monitoring and mitigation Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) service to protect the availability of all BBC online assets with minimal degradation of service. PLEASE NOTE - this is a market soundings exercise and will not be used to prequalify or evaluate any potential suppliers.
