We are taking a blended approach to delivering these beds whereby a proportion of the development is delivered on UoS sites. We have identified that circa. 2400 beds could be delivered on the UoS estate but are not in a position to undertake direct development of most of these beds. We are looking to agree a partnership with a developer / investor / operator who we would transfer stock to that they would operate whilst building new stock on areas of UoS sites that we have identified. It is anticipated that a stock transfer of around 2,300 beds and development of around 2,500 beds are in scope. The partner would be responsible for planning & development. Risk and reward is shared by the partnership.
