This action plan will support the council on its journey to becoming an anti-racist organisation and will need to identify areas for improvement and action across the council as a whole. It will focus primarily on how the council works, with separate but connected work on community cohesion, hate crime and areas of recovery related to the recent civil unrest and violence. The action plan should have measurable outputs and outcomes which can be clearly communicated and reported on. This action plan must be developed in an inclusive manner, engaging with appropriate stakeholders, service users, elected members and employees.
