As part of an MRC equipment award, the University is seeking to purchase a technology that can measure multiple RNAs on various tissues sub-cellular spatial resolution. Due to the nature and complexity of the biological/clinical questions, the system must be able to detect a minimum of 1000 expressed genes on the same tissue/cell sample. Such a platform will underpin existing work by the FMS Biomedical Research Facilities including, Flow Cytometry, Bioimaging, Genomics, Human Developmental Biology Resource (HDBR) and other single cell technologies.
