Ten rubber-tyre gantry cranes alongside a fleet of mobile plant (including reachstackers, forklift trucks, tractor-trailer units, and loading shovels) are used for the internal movement of cargoes within the port. Two of the Companies mobile harbour cranes (No.1 and No.2 Crane) are approaching the end of their working life and have been made redundant by the recent procurement of the portal slewing cranes (No.6 and No.7 Crane). The Company wishes to engage a contractor to carry out the safe dismantling and disposal of No.1 and No.2 Crane. Additional information: This Procurement process is being conducted via the In-Tend e-procurement portal. The In-Tend portal is a web based system that allows the Company to make documents electronically available to Tenderers, receive documents electronically from Tenderers and to communicate electronically with Tenderers.
