The existing timber deck boards have only recently been replaced; the footbridge timberwork to be taken down and reinstated after the footbridge repainting works. The footbridge spans over a main river and the footbridge repaint work will require full encapsulation to prevent paint and construction debris entering the watercourse beneath.
