The proposed design retains and re-purposes the two existing Listed Buildings on the site, together with forming a new build performance space and shared atrium foyer, to create a single community facility with a new central entrance linking together the Community Hub activities. This option safeguards and secures two important but vulnerable listed buildings in the town and retains new development on existing brownfield land.
