The scheme will consist of a 6.5m wide carriageway approximately 830m long from the junction of Dinan Way/Hulham Road to the A376 Exmouth Road. At each end of the proposed Dinan Way Extension the junction will take the form of a 3 and 4 arm compact roundabout. A new 2m wide shared pedestrian and cycle path along one side of the Dinan Way Extension will provide a facility for sustainable modes of transport from new developments and the northeast of Exmouth to access the Exe Estuary Trail. Two SUDS (consisting of filter drains, ditches and 5 ponds) will sustainably manage the surface water generated from the site and discharge into the Wotton Brook to the north.
