This contract will be a total length of 3 years with a possible 2-year extension. This must be an all-age offer to complement our recently published All-Age Autism Strategy 2023-25. We are looking to commission a community based service catering to individuals of all ages on the autism spectrum who are receiving no or little existing support. The service will prioritise offering information and advice, peer support and activity groups, while collaborating with health, education and employment partners to improve outcomes and raise autism awareness. The service will also assist individuals through the diagnostic process, providing pre-diagnosis and parent/carer support groups. Our aim is to empower individuals, promote independence and facilitate self-management.
