Key objectives of the campaign are to: • attract wide interest from a diverse range of people across the four nations who are suitable to be appointed (at least 60 of successful Panel Members must be a registered nurse or midwife and at least two must be nursing associates); and • improve the diversity of our Panel Member and Panel Chair pool. Specifically improve the diversity of the registrant Panel Member pool so that at a minimum 17% of registrant candidates recommended for appointment are from ethnic minority backgrounds. • that the process builds on the learning and feedback from our previous panel chair and panel member selection and appointment campaigns.
